The following is a list of recent and upcoming activities:

Oct.  23-24 - Ron is scheduled to be in Topeka for an interim meeting of the Joint Committee on Taxation.

Oct. 8 - Ron attended the Annual  Legislative breakfast of the Johnson County Commission on Aging to hear updates on issues of concern to the Commission.  

Oct. 2 - Ron toured the new KCP& L  Iatan II power plant under construction near Weston, MO. to learn more about coal power plant construction and operation and about the process of retrofitting the existing Iatan I power plant to upgraded standards.

Sept. 22 - Ron attended the Kansas Dept. of Transportation meeting in Olathe to discuss area concerns about funding for a new Kansas Transportation plan and T-LINK committee progress.

Sept. 18-19 - Ron was in Topeka for interim meetings of the Joint Committee on Taxation

August 22 - Ron invited by Johnson/Wyandotte Counties Bar Association to address the monthly class of newly naturalized citizens of America. Class of nearly 100 from many different countries all very happy to become American citizens. What an enjoyable event at which to speak.

August 4 - Ron in Lawrence for the Dole Center conference on current  Health Care issues.

July 30 -  Ron attended  the T. Boone Pickens Town Hall meeting in Topeka to get first hand information about the alternative energy plans he is proposing for America

July 15 - Ron attended the Kansas BioScience meeting in Overland Park to receive updates on results of the BioScience Authority activites over the past year.
