Lenexa, KS – State Representative Ron Worley of Lenexa filed today for re-election to the 30th District in the Kansas House of Representatives.
He was elected in 2006 to serve the district entirely within the city limits of Lenexa. “With redistricting, I expect this district to grow by a few hundred voters and I am committed to ensuring Lenexa voters have a strong, informed voice in Topeka,” said Worley upon his filing.
Rep. Worley is working hard to enhance communication with the 30th District and recently launched an online survey to canvass the priorities of the district. Voters can visit http://www.ronworley.com/2012survey to complete the questionnaire.
Worley worked for 14 years as a codes administrator for the City of Lenexa, and has served in the U.S. Air Force. He received his Bachelor's in Business Administration from Kansas State University. Worley is a member of the Kansas City Catbackers Club, Leadership Lenexa Alumni Association, Lenexa Chamber of Commerce, and the Veteran's of Foreign Wars.
Ron and his wife, Dana, are active in the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection and have been homeowners in Lenexa for 18 years.
